Surfing 4 Lou Gehrig's Disease

Huntington Beach, CA - Surfer Catherine Vasquez is organizing for the 3rd year, a surfing contest that benefits people from Lou Gehrig's disease, A.K.A. (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). The disease inhibits a person's motor skills leaving them paralyzed.
Roughly 200 surfers participate in the event called Surfers Against Lou Gehrig's Disease Surfing Aliance (SALSA). This event has raised $10,000 each year along with awareness. Learn more at www.salsasurfing.org
